Underworld 1.2 is out there
Another update of Underworld, 1.2 is ready and waiting for you in the AppStore.
We have submitted this version long before the 3.0 came out, so the 1.2 doesn’t have any of those bells & whistles of 3.0 iPhone firmware yet. Still it’s worth checking out.
Messages from dealers and other characters (Joey, Max, etc) now appear right over the offers screen, so you can read and answer to them without going deep into the Profile screen. The same has happened with sales notifications — check out the screenshots.
We have also improved the tutorial at the start of the game — hoping it’s going to be a lot easier for the newcomers to catch up with the rules now.
Many small bugs and glitches have been fixed in the game, thanks for the bug reports we get from the community.
Ok, now just go get the new version and let us know what you think. While you are enjoying it, we are almost ready with some

Still crashing Problems with this Version.
Its like the Game is freezing than crashing
i really like to Know of other people have that too.
But Overall the New Look is Quite cool.

I haven’t had any crashes yet. Fortunately (?).
The update looks pretty good so far, extcept the number of Busteds… I got busted a lot of time even at normal (LSD) police alert… But the game is still fun.

@Andrey, I hope the next release will retain the Top Bar (always on top) so we can always see the Signal (if we are using 3G or Wifi), the current time, and battery life. This is true in most other applications, except Underworld.
Would you be able to make the Top Bar visible at all time? It makes no sense to exit and reload the game just to see if the 3G or Wifi is being used.

Great idea DreamBoy.
Many times i sit there for ages waiting for my labs to restock and then close Underworld only to see that i’ve had no wi-fi connection for god knows how long.

Just bought level 5 police evasion… no change from level 4. Drops and waffles still risky. What’s up with that?

The percentage of risk is lowered, but not enough that it isn’t considered risky.
It goes from like, 25% to 20%.

The “show top bar” seems to be wanted so much. Ok, good news, we have officially added it to the todo list now
We’ll see if we can implement it in the next update.

Another for reducing the number of busts. Getting ridiculous now, seriously, level 5 should not be getting busted this much, even on “Normal” items…Very annoying.

Another for the “show top bar.” Also, anyone that is using the package to switch SD to DL, is it working for you with OS 3.0 / Underworld 1.2? My icon is changed and the DL screen comes up for a second on loading, but then it seems like the old files take back over and everything shows up as SD. It worked fine when I first installed 3.0, but then went along installing all my other apps (and multiple reboots). When I checked next, this is what was happening.
andrey: I really like the new look of 1.2. The growl like interface for messages is awesome. Keep up the good work, bud.

Hope we have new levels on next updates, some players in chat said it is pointless once you reach level 21.

its not so buggy any more, is much faster, and the messages on the top are very useful.
and that the different deals are directly shown in “one” deal.

Hey andrey, can you send me an email? I’m still having problems with my copy of SD and I’m not sure what to do next. I’ve completely removed SD, powered off/on, and reinstalled, and yet I still have the same weird issue. Maybe you, or someone else here, knows what I could try next. Anyway, I turned off the DL theme and I still get a funny message on startup of the game, everytime I start it up. The message is: Ooops… There is a problem with internet connection on your device: it is either absent or unstable. Please enable internet to enjoy the game. Trying to reconnect….
I can bring my phone out of sleep, wait till wifi connects, look at some pages in Safari, and then open SD and I still get this message. Doesn’t matter if I’m on edge or wifi. I’m currently using a iPhone 3G jailbroken and unlocked 3.0 firmware on the T-Mobile network. If you have any debug type of things I can run on it, or anything I can check, it’d be much appreciated. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Yep, works well for me. I like the notification bubble at the top.
The only thing that is a bit annoying is that I seem to be getting busted even when risk is showing as Normal, and i have level 5. That’s not happened before.

Some dealers can see me while I cannot see them. We are at the same Trade area level and my dealer list for that particular sweets is not even full. What’s up with that???
Annoying especially since implementation of newer gameplay. Please make sure we can see each other.

I have the same issue as JT. Ive had a buyer buying from me for a while and both of our trade area levels are at 5 and i have never seen their offers

That is just not right. I think for the next update, Audrey needs to expand the list of players per sweets that we can see. Let us just scrow down and see them.

yo andrey, ever since this update i get the “oops” message everytime. This game now crashes all the time and lags bad. It takes forever for the game to find my location and a few times has thrown me clear across the country. It never used to do this. It seems like it has effected the online function of the phone so that should the first area you check out. Please fix these issues so I can enjoy the game again. Thanks
